eh. look at me! i'm updating again.

so i'm done the book already.. desperately in need of some other reading materials. any good suggestions?

anyway.. life has its ups and downs.. but unlike the old me, i am tired and just too English-challenged to write em all down.. perhaps some things are best kept within one's mind. Lord, give me strength and wisdom to do Your will.

on a side note, someting that made me ponder..

so this girl named yan yan on my softball team is vegetarian, and she's always flooded with questions from me and other people on the team about what she doesn't eat and why.. and one time soemone asked her if she has missed eating meat at all, and her reply was a definite no. with such confidence and pride.. it makes me wonder.. why hasn't anyone gone up to the Christians on our team and ask if we had missed our lives before Christ? and if we were to come face to face with this question.. how many of us could reply with such confidence to say that we don't miss it at all? esp when we keep falling on our faces from sinning and walking away from God when our faith is weak? can we truly say that we don't miss our lives before Christ when we get tempted so easily to go back to our old ways?

it's been a year since arizona.. and after reading peggy's entry on the missions trip. i miss it immensely. i miss our team, i miss the place, i miss the kids. but what i miss the most is the way i responded to God. I failed miserably this summer with my attempt to get back on track with my devos. with God. i am sorry Father, i am not worthy but you love me nonetheless.
